CT 20/20 Vision National Conference Recap

We’re back from Nashville, and what a few days it was. From September 28th to 30th, our team joined the CT 20/20 Vision National Conference, and we came home with a lot of great conversations and a few big takeaways worth sharing.

Reconnecting With the People We Work For

One of the best parts of any conference is simply getting to sit down with people face to face. Between emails, phone calls, and policy reviews, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s going on in a client’s world day to day. Spending real time with Caring Transitions owners gave us a chance to strengthen existing relationships and hear what they’re dealing with right now, what’s changed in their businesses, what’s keeping them up at night, and where they could use more support.

Meeting New Faces

We also had the chance to connect with prospective clients and other industry professionals throughout the event. Those conversations expanded our network and opened the door to some exciting opportunities. Some of the best relationships start with a casual chat at a conference table, and we’re looking forward to following up with the people we met.

Talking About Coverage That Often Gets Overlooked

We shared our video with attendees and used it as a way to start conversations about two coverages that don’t always get the attention they deserve: Cyber Liability and Employment Practices Liability. If you missed it, you can watch it anytime on our Caring Transitions page.

  • Cyber Liability matters for any business that stores client information, uses email, or accepts electronic payments, which is pretty much everyone these days.

  • Employment Practices Liability can help protect a business against certain covered claims related to employment, like discrimination, harassment, or wrongful termination allegations.

Both are the kind of coverages people tend to think about only after something happens, so we love having the chance to talk through them before they’re needed.

Our Team Showed Up

It meant a lot to have TJ, Holly, Liz, and Dan all there in person, ready to connect with attendees and offer risk management guidance for their businesses. Having the whole team present shows how seriously we take our relationship with Caring Transitions, and it gave owners a chance to talk with different members of the team depending on what they wanted to learn more about.

Why We Show Up

Our commitment to Caring Transitions isn’t something we just talk about. It shows in how we participate, how we follow through, and how long we plan to be part of this community. It all ties back to our core values: Accountability, Service, Trust, and Advisor.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and shared a bit about their business with us. We’re already looking forward to what’s next.
