This Yearโs Spotlight โ Building Hope in the City

In the Community…
At Navigate Risk Advisors, we strive to provide meaningful support to our local community โ improving the places our employees and customers call home.
Current Spotlight:
Building Hopeโs Mission:
Advance the good of the city.
To pray, advocate, labor with and contend for a God-honoring vision of our city as it is meant to be: a place of peace, dignity, mutuality, relationship, prosperity and opportunity for all people.
Magnify the mission of Jesus.
The mission of Jesus is the restoration of all of creation to the Father through faith. Thus, all our efforts, initiatives and programs seek to make Jesus and His Word known. Some of our efforts are more direct in these efforts, others are subtle. This mix of approaches is intentional and strategic.
Unleash the capability of underestimated people.
Jesusโ heart was for the poor, broken, despised, feared and misunderstood; He raised and empowered leaders from non-traditional and questionable backgrounds. We live into His passion through initiatives that seek to partner with and develop those who the world undervalues. Our work seeks to create leadership pathways for those we encounter.
Areas Where You Can Serve Alongside Navigate:
We will be volunteering time to help the two efforts below, and we invite you to join us in making a difference.

Housing & Community Development
Developing Cleveland’s communities begins with investing in our most important asset – people – followed by the basic human need for safe, affordable housing. From participating in community-building events, to neighborhood prayer walks and working with children, you can make an impact by serving the residents of Cleveland’s Clark-Fulton and Stockyards neighborhoods when you volunteer with us.

Social Enterprise
Business is mission for us, which means whether it’s Common Threads, the brand of thrift stores we operate locally, or the support we provide our tenants through Good Neighbors & Company, we see these as opportunities to love God and love others while providing sustainable income streams for the organization. You can serve at Common Threads by restocking the sales floor, merchandising or sorting donations and at Good Neighbors & Co. by assisting with renovations or property care and landscaping.

Upcoming Events:
If youโre able to make it to any of the following events, weโd love to have your support. Please email or call us to sign up!
- Friday, August 26, 2022: Golf Outing at Fowlerโs Mill (more details to come)
- Saturday, September 10, 2022: RallyCLE, where several neighborhood projects will be selected and volunteers can help on that day.
- Sunday, October 23, 2022: Windows on the River, where they hold their yearly fundraiser. There are opportunities to sponsor a table or some piece of the event, and an online silent auction is available too.
- Friday, December 2 – Saturday, December 3, 2022: Christmas Store – you can join us to provide new items from an Amazon wishlist. These items are โsoldโ for $1.00 – $3.00 each to low-income families. This brings a small amount of dignity to the event and families (especially dads) seem to appreciate the opportunity to โbuyโ, rather than receive handouts.
- Throughout the Year: There are opportunities to volunteer at their Common Threads store as well. If youโre interested in doing that, please call us at 440-871-0110, and ask for Holly Roe.
