Nathaniel (Nate) Ekstrom serves as the Commercial Lines Manager at Navigate Risk Advisors LLC in Westlake, Ohio. In this role, he leads a team dedicated to designing and managing comprehensive insurance portfolios that safeguard the assets and operations of commercial clients. Nate draws upon a diverse background in claims management, sales, and risk analysis to guide businesses through the complexities of today’s insurance landscape.
He earned his degree in Criminology and Sociology from Kent State University, where he developed a keen analytical perspective and a deep understanding of the social and structural factors that influence risk. Nate began his insurance career in claims, earning his Texas Adjuster License in April 2021 and gaining extensive experience in commercial auto and property claims within a third-party administration environment. He further strengthened his expertise through hands-on roles as a roofing inspector and claims coordinator. In October 2024, he earned his Ohio Property and Casualty License, expanding his capabilities to include both personal and commercial lines of insurance.
Nate brings a well-rounded perspective to every client engagement. His ability to anticipate challenges and develop strategic, tailored solutions ensures that each business he serves is protected with precision and care. Outside of his professional work, Nate enjoys attending live sporting events and stand-up comedy shows, and maintains an active lifestyle through fishing, disc golf, and skiing.
